Ready for Spring, girls? I sure am and is there anything more exciting in the forecast than white bags? Well, a giant white clutch!! Big clutches continue in full force for Spring as expected. This day clutch in white crackled patent leather is super hot. I know winter white is acceptable but who are we kidding? We are all waiting for warm weather so we can wear white with our brightest brights and glowing tan skin. There is no better way to ruin your cutest summer pastels than to wear it with a sodden dreg of a black bag. Any black bag, or worse, brown. Yuck and double yuck. I got the greatest black python for winter and I’ve been loving it but today was 70 degrees and that to me signifies the end of the season so I must now put it away. This one clutch is all you need for the season, as you can see the bag is simple but full of style. Oscar de la Renta is really making great bags now and the quality is superb. You really need to go high end with white bags, especially in patent white because all the seams and stitching has to be perfect or else it will look cheap. The tab on the flap gives it depth and texture with the layers and piping, which a white bag needs. The flap has a magnetic closure but the bag itself has a zipper top. This is a really big bag at 15″ x 7.5″, so be careful if you are petite. At Net a Porter for $1295.
